Production Industry Council Motion -October 13, 2022 .
The purpose of this Letter to the Commission ("L TC") is to inform the Mayor and City Commission of a
motion passed by the Miami Beach Production Industry Council ("PIC") during their Thursday, October 13,
2022 meeting.
MOTION: Motion to create an exploratory subcommittee tasked with researching insights into the needs of
regional film festivals, and other local producers, in their efforts to reconnect with their audience in a post-
COVID19 environment and bring said audience back to Miami Beach . Committee member Igor
Shteyrenberg will take lead on this subcommittee .
Motion was moved by Charles Madison and seconded by Nicole Allison .
Motion passed unanimously (6 -0)
