SUBJECT: REQUEST F PROPOSALS FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF
PUBLICIPRIV ATE PARKING FACILITIES IN MIAMI BEACH SOUTH OF
DADE BOULEVARD
On December 30, 1997, the City of Miami Beach issued Request for Proposals (RFP) Number 20-
97/98 for the development of public/private parking facilities in Miami Beach, south of Dade
Boulevard. Due to the shortage of parking in this area, the City issued this RFP in order to seek
qualified and experienced development teams to bid on either the sites recommended and identified
by the City and/or to propose the development of parking on privately owned property.
On Monday, April 6, 1998, the City received proposals from five (5) different development teams
for various sites throughout the South Beach area. Four of the teams submitted proposals for one
site each, while the fifth development team submitted proposals for six (6) different sites. The
following is the name of each team as well as the site or sites submitted:

Presently, the City Administration is in the process of analyzing the proposals to assure compliance
with the terms of the RFP and will prepare a proposal matrix that will highlight the key aspects of
each of the proposals.
