SUBJECT: Evaluation Committee Relative to Request for Qualifications (RFQ) No. 2023-121-ND, for
Architectural Design Services for the 72° Street Community Complex Project
The purpose of this L TC is to update the Mayor and City Commission on the status of Request for
Qualifications (RFQ) No. 2023-121-ND. The RFQ seeks to select a firm for architectural design services
for the 72nd Street Community Complex Project that will provide complete design, permitting,
community outreach participation, and construction documents.
The City received proposals pursuant to this RFQ on February 3, 2023. The responsive proposals will
be reviewed by the Evaluation Committee in accordance with the criteria established in the RFQ.
I have appointed the following individuals to serve on the Evaluation Committee:
• Monica Beltran, Director, Parking Department
• Cynthia Casanova, Assistant Director, Parks and Recreation Department
• David Gomez, Division Director, Office of Capital Improvement Projects
• Maria Hernandez, General Obligation Bond Program Director, Office of the City Manager
• Ronnie lssenberg, Member, Ad Hoc North Beach CRA Advisory Committee
• Carolina Jones, Member, Parks and Recreation Advisory Committee
• Rogelio Madan, Deputy Director, Planning and Zoning Department
I have also appointed the following individuals as alternates:
• Maria Cerna, Division Director, Office of Capital Improvement Projects
