Planning Board Recommendation - Income Targeting Set to 80% to AMI.
On December 20, 2022, the Planning Board discussed a proposed amendment to the land development
regulations that was referred by the City Commission related to Washington Avenue Overlay Co-Living
Amendments. After the transmittal of the ordinance to the City Commission, the Board unanimously
approved the following motion with seven (7) members present:
• Recommend that the City Commission set 80% of the area median income (AM I) as the income
target for affordable housing when co-living units or other development incentives are pro posed.
