Subject:
Planning Department staff has just received a letter from Pablo Cejas announcing his
resignation from the Planning Board. He mentions his current commitments to business
and family as his reason for resigning.
Mr. Cejas has served the Planning Board with distinction for approximately one year and
his resignation is an unfortunate turn of events that will leave a gap for a voice for the
business community. Mr. Cejas was the "general business" appointment to the Planning
Board; at the May 5,2004 meeting the Administration will request that the City Commission
make an appointment to fill this category.
