Update on Request for Letters of Interest (RFU) 2023-435-KB -
Mixed-Use Development on City-Owne d Parking Lots Near 41° Street
The purpose of this Letter to Commission ("LTC") is to update the Mayor and City Commission regarding
Request for Letters of Interest (RF LI) 2023-435-KB, seeking expressions of interest in mixed-use
development on city-owned parking lots near 41 st Street including:
1) P58 - 4049 Royal Palm Avenue;
2) P59 - 525 West 40" Street;
3) P60 - 4000 Chase Avenue;
4) P62 - 836 West 42" Street; and
5) P63 - 4166 Royal Palm Avenue.
On April 21, 2023, at the direction of the City Commission, the Administration released the above
referenced RFU. By issuing the RFU, the City Commission may gauge whether interest exists among
the real estate development industry for a potential public-private partnership on these parking lots.
Interested parties were asked to submit expressions of interest, not development offers or proposals.
The deadline to submit letters of interest to the Procurement Department was 3:00 PM on June 9, 2023.
The City received letters of interest from the ten (10) entities listed below prior to the deadline.
