SUBJECT: Evaluation Committee Relative to Request for Proposals (RFP) No. 2023-
628-LB for Wide Area Network and Internet Connectivity Services
The purpose of this L TC is to update the Mayor and City Commission on the status of
RFP No. 2023-628-LB. The RFP seeks proposals from qualified service providers to
deliver internet and wide area network services to all facilities.
Proposals will be received on October 13, 2023. The responsive proposals will be
reviewed by the Evaluation Committee in accordance with the criteria established in the
RFP.
I have appointed the following individuals to serve on the Evaluation Committee:
•Francisco Garcia, Division Director, Facilities and Fleet
•Lazaro Guerra, PSCU Administrator, Public Safety Communications Division
•Shari Lipner, Division Administrator, Emergency Management
•Omar Mendoza, Principal Engineer, Public Works
•Frank Quintana, Chief Information Officer, Information Technology
I have also appointed the following individuals as alternates:
•Antonio Arce, Radio Systems Administration, Public Safety Communications
Division
•Jose Del Risco, Assistant Director, Parks and Recreation
•Heather Shaw, Assistant Director, Economic Development
