Dear Honorable Mayor and City Commission:
The Transportation, Parking and Bicycle-Pedestrian Facilities Committee (TPBPFC) held its
hybrid meeting on Monday, October 9, 2023, and passed the below motion:
Deco Bike/Citi Bike Contract Extension
The Transportation, Parking, and Bicycle-Pedestrian Facilities Committee, after a thorough
discussion of the bike-share program and proposed extension, unanimously voted (10-0)
to pass a motion supporting the 5-year extension of the Deco Bike/Citi Bike bike-share
program. We believe that the proposed extension, as drafted, satisfies the
recommendations we made.
As an advisory Committee, we urge the Mayor and City Commission to support this motion.
Sincerely,
Transportation, Parking & Bicycle-Pedestrian Facilities Committee
