— The event showcases talented young musicians and performers from across Miami-Dade County —
Miami Beach, FL – The Miami Beach Rock Ensemble will headline the upcoming 7th Annual Miami Beach Youth Music Festival on Saturday, March 11 at the Miami Beach Bandshell. The event is sponsored by the City of Miami Beach and The Rhythm Foundation to highlight talented young people from the Miami Beach area. “The quality of home-grown performers we see at the Youth Music Festival is so impressive,”
Miami Beach Mayor Dan Gelber said. “These young people are truly the future of entertainment and a community treasure.
Featured performers at this year’s event include Alexandra Caplan-Bernstein, Anaiis, Arrowhead, Ashra Hunt, Aubrey Rosenhaus, Avalanche, Belinda Muzii, Gerard and Guglielmo Petrella, Isabella Velasquez, Jason Paumier, The Jazz Collective, Joshua and Lysette Safont,
Julia Grace and Matthew Vallejo, Live! School of Music, Lobac Quartet, Malena Kingston, Miami Beach Fienberg Fisher K8 Rock Ensemble, Mind State, Niksa Bobic, Nina Marie, No Sense, Not Yet Published, Remnants of Mars, DJ Shayoss, Sevenstone, Skull Collection, Sophia Leder Kremer, Street Happenings, The Sunset Four, Vale Mar, The What and The Wildflowers. The Miami Beach Youth Music Festival will feature three showcase stages throughout the day, including the main stage, an acoustic stage and a piano bar. The venue is located at 7275 Collins Ave. Activities planned for the adjacent Bandshell Park include the City of Miami Beach’s
Imagination Playground, hands-on art activities hosted by the Bass Museum and more. While admission is free, donations will be accepted to support music programs at Miami Beach
public schools. RSVP at www.miamibeach.rocks. All performers — rockers, school groups, singer-songwriters, young jazz musicians, pianists
and beat makers — will receive an honorarium. A total of 52 applicants submitted audition reels ahead of the event, which begins at 3 p.m. At least one member of each act must be a resident of Miami-Dade County, with an average age under 18.
