FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Nov. 29, 2023 Miami Beach Launches New Mobile App to Streamline Resident and Business Access
— Stay connected with Miami Beach Gov — Miami Beach, FL – Today, the City of Miami Beach has unveiled Miami Beach Gov — a new, mobile app that brings the resources of city government directly to residents and businesses. Key features include the ability to report concerns, check current beach conditions, track the free citywide trolley, pay fees, stream MBTV live, stay current on city news and view a comprehensive calendar of meetings and events.
“We always strive to be as accessible and responsive as possible,” shared Miami Beach City Manager Alina Hudak. “This new tool will allow each and every home and business to quickly
share concerns and easily access important information.”
Residents and businesses are encouraged to use the app to report issues such as potholes, graffiti and more with photographs and location mapping. In addition, app users can find
information on the city’s many parks, recreational facilities as well as arts and cultural venues. The new mobile app replaces the Miami Beach eGov app that was released in 2014. Current
eGov users will automatically receive the Miami Beach Gov app via a software upgrade without the need to create a new account. For new users, the Miami Beach Gov app is available via a free download in both the Apple and Google app stores.
The new mobile app was developed by the city’s Information Technology Department. ###
