Miami Beach Top Gun Beach Olympics (Fleet Week Miami)
The purpose of this Letter to Commission (L TC) is to provide event details to the Mayor and City
Commission regarding the upcoming Miami Beach Top Gun Beach Olympics (the Event). On July
14, 2023, Miami-Dade County along with the U.S. Navy announced Fleet Week at the Port of
Miami during the week of May 6-12, 2024. As part of the week-long celebration, the City of Miami
Beach will host the first-ever Event in Lummus Park.
Please join us for the Miami Beach Top Gun Beach Olympics, which will be held on Saturday,
May 11, 2024, from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Muscle Beach in the Lummus Park spoil area between
8 and 9 Streets.
The Event will feature teams from the Navy, Marine Corps, Coast Guard and local First
Responders competing in beach volleyball, team tug of war, pull-up challenge, and more. The
Event is free and open to the public.
