A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, AMENDING AND CORRECTING
RESOLUTION NUMBER 94-21362 APPROVED ON OCTOBER 19, 1994,
IN ORDER TO APPROPRIATE EIGHTEEN THOUSAND EIGHTY-THREE
DOLLARS AND TEN CENTS ($18,083.10) IN RETURNED SUBSIDY
FUNDS FROM THE RENTAL REHABILITATION PROGRAM FUNDED
MULTI -FAMILY HOUSING REHABILITATION PROGRAM AT THE
ESPLANADE APARTMENTS AT 1569-1575 MICHIGAN AVENUE AND
934-16TH STREET TO THE RENTAL REHABILITATION PROGRAM
FUND 153.
WHEREAS, the City of Miami Beach received Eighteen Thousand. Eighty-three Dollars
and Ten Cents ($18,083.10) in subsidy funds returned from the Esplanade Apartments Rental
Rehabilitation Project at 1569-1575 Michigan Avenue and 934 16th. Street; and
WHEREAS, Resolution Number 94-21362, approved on October 19, 1994,
inadvertently stated that the returned funds were to be appropriated to the Community Development
Block Grant (CDBG) Program fund; and
WHEREAS, all returned funds from the Rental Rehabilitation Program received by the
City must be appropriated to the Rental Rehabilitation Program Fund 153, in order to properly account
for such funds.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the Mayor and City Commission hereby authorize an
amendment to Resolution Number 94-21362, approved on October 19, 1994, in order to appropriate
Eighteen Thousand Eighty-three Dollars and Ten Cents ($18,083.10) in returned subsidy funds from
the Rental Rehabilitation Program funded Multi -Family Housing Rehabilitation Program at the Esplanade
Apartments to Rental Rehabilitation Program Fund 153.

ADMINISTRATION RECOMMENDATION:
To adopt the attached Resolution which amends Resolution Number 94-21362 appropriating Eighteen
Thousand Eighty-three Dollars and Ten Cents ($18,083.10) in returned subsidy funds as unanticipated
program income to the Rental Rehabilitation Program funded Multi -Family Housing Rehabilitation
Program account number: 153.5198.00676. These funds were returned from a project that was
funded under the City's federal Multi -Family Housing Rehabilitation Program.
ANALYSIS:
The City of Miami Beach received funds from a Multi -Family Rehabilitation project at the Esplanade
Apartments, located at 1569-1575 Michigan Avenue and 934-16th Street, in the amount of
$18,083.10. Resolution Number 94-21362, adopted October 19, 1994, incorrectly directed the funds
be appropriated into the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) fund.
CONCLUSION:
The Administration recommends the adoption of the attached Resolution amending and correcting
Resolution Number 94-21362 and appropriating Eighteen Thousand Eighty-three Dollars and Ten Cents
($18,083.10) in returned subsidy funds to the City's Rental Rehabilitation Program Fund 153.
