A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING THE ACCEPTANCE OF
TWO (2) BICYCLES AND RELATED SAFETY EQUIPMENT VALUED AT
APPROXIMATELY $19400 AS DONATED TO THE MIAMI BEACH POLICE
DEPARTMENT
WHEREAS, the Lincoln Road Partnership, Inc. wishes to donate two (2)
bicycles and related safety equipment, as shown in Exhibit "A", to the Police
Department for use by police officers; and
WHEREAS, no funds are required from .the City for the acquisition of the two
(2) bicycles and related safety equipment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND
CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the City of Miami Beach accept the two (2) bicycles and
related safety equipment as a donation from the Lincoln Road Partnership, Inc.
Section 2. That the two (2) bicycles and related safety equipment remain in the
custody of the Police Department and shall be serviced and maintained by the City of
Miami Beach as is all other city -owned equipmei

SUBJECT: A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING ACCEPTANCE OF TWO
(2) BICYCLES AND RELATED SAFETY EQUIPMENT, VALUED AT
APPROXIMATELY $1,400 AS DONATED TO THE POLICE DEPARTMENT.
ADMINISTRATION RECOMMENDATION
The Administration recommends that the Mayor and the City Commission adopt the
attached Resolution authorizing the acceptance of the gift of Two (2) bicycles and
related safety equipment with an estimated total value of $1,400 donated to the
Police Department.
The Lincoln Road Partnership, Inc. wishes to donate Two (2) bicycles and related
safety equipment to the Police Department. The bicycles will be used by police
officers as part of the Police Department's community policing program. There are
no funds required from the City for the purchase of this equipment.
CONCLUSION
The approval of this Resolution will enable the Police Department to accept the Two
(2) bicycles from the Lincoln Road Partnership, Inc.
