CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, APPROPRIATING $103,811
FROM PARKING FUND 485 INTO EXISTING WORK ORDER #2108
FOR CHANGE ORDERS NUMBERS 1 THROUGH 12 FOR THE
FLAMINGO PARK PARKING LOT AND MICHIGAN AVENUE
IMPROVEMENTS
WHEREAS, the Mayor and City Commission approved the Flamingo Park Parking Lot
and Michigan Avenue Improvements on March 16, 1994; and
WHEREAS, an appropriation and Work Order within Parking Fund 485 was established
on.March 16, 1994, for this purpose.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the Mayor and City
Commission approve the appropriation of $103,811 from Parking Fund 485 into Work Order
Number 2I08 for change orders, numbers 1 through 12 for Flamingo Park Parking Lot and .
Michigan Avenue Improvements.

IMPROVEMENTS
ADMINISTRATIVE RECOMMENDATION
The City Administration recommends adoption of the attached Resolution in order to close out
this project as per City Commission policy adopted on March 16, 1994.
BACKGROUND & ANALYSIS
The project scope consists of the construction of the new Flamingo Park Parking Lot and
miscellaneous paving, landscaping and street lighting improvements to Michigan Avenue from
12th Street to 15th Street with a total original budget of $509,804.50.
The attached listing of additional work and credits requested by the City, provides for upgrades
and change of scope work to adjust and conform to changed project requirements, many of which
resulted from requests of the residents. Changes totaling $132,125.50 less credits totaling
$28,315.00 result in a net add for change orders #1 through #12 of $103,810.50.
All changes and additional work have been verified by the City and the Architect/Engineer of
record.
CONCLUSION
Change Orders #1 through #12 should be approved in the total amount of $103,810.50 and the
attached Resolution adopted.

service connection.
4. Asphalt overlay and reworking of high areas on Michigan
Avenue from 12th Street to 15th Street.
5. New 5' wide sidewalk on Michigan Avenue west side from
12th Street to 15th Street.
6. New driveway aprons on Michigan Avenue west side from
12th Street to 15th Street.
7. New sod on Michigan Avenue west side from 12th Street
to 15th street.
8. Adjust 11 manholes along Michigan Avenue from 12 Street
to 15th Street.
9. Remove solid concrete wall with footing on Michigan
Avenue and 14th Street.
