Subject: Request to call R9 p - Discussion on Management of Pride Park
Mayor Meiner,
The Palm View Neighborhood Association (PVNA) encourages you to call item #R9 P DISCUSS
AND TAKE ACTION REGARDING THE FUTURE MANAGEMENT OF PRIDE PARK in the May 15,
2024 Commission Meeting.
On May 9, 2024, the PVNA held a public meeting where we discussed Pride Park and our
continued support for a change of management to the Miami Beach Parks Department. The
PVNA believes that the Miami Beach Parks Department will assert a residents-first focus of
operations and services for Pride Park.
This resolution was on the February, March, and April Commission Meeting agendas and was
not called for discussion. We ask that you call this item for discussion.
Thank you for your service to the Palm View residents and the City of Miami Beach.
Respectfully,
Palm View Neighborhood Board of Directors
Chris Gloede, President
Victoria Pelletier, Vice President
Paul Freeman, Treasurer
Brian Feit, Secretary
Alvaro Concha, Director
John Courtney, Director
