SUBJECT: Committee for Quality Education Motions
The Committee for Quality Education would like you to be aware of the following motions regarding
the FOOT safety campaign Alert Today Alive Tomorrow and partnerships to support Miami Beach
Fienberg Fisher K-8 funding gap due to Title I loss, approved at the May 28 2024, committee
meeting.

The Committee for Quality Education requests the Mayor and Commission promote the FDOT
safety campaign Alert Today Alive Tomorrow beginning in early August 2024 in partnership with
Miami Beach public, private and charter schools.
The Committee for Quality Education urges the Mayor and Commission to support the above
request.

item C4Y at the May 15, 2024 Commission meeting to identify partnerships to bridge the Miami
Beach Fienberg Fisher K-8 funding gap in light of the Title 1 funding loss.
The Committee for Quality Education urges the Mayor and Commission to support the above
request.
