SUBJECT: Evaluation Committee Relative to Request for Qualifications (RFQ) 2024-303-WG
Job Order Contracting (JOC) for Roofing or Electrical Construction Projects
The purpose of this Letter to Commission (L TC) is to update the Mayor and City Commission on
the status of Request for Qualifications (RFQ) 2024-303-WG for Job Order Contracting (JOC)
services for roofing or electrical construction projects. The purpose of this RFQ is to seek
proposals from qualified contractors interested in furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, and
supplies to provide JOC services on future roofing or electrical construction projects.
Proposals pursuant to this RFQ were received on May 23, 2024. The responsive proposals will
be reviewed by the Evaluation Committee in accordance with the criteria established in the RFQ.
I have appointed the following individuals to serve on the Evaluation Committee:
• Martin Calcano, Facilities Capital Projects Coordinator, Facilities and Fleet Management
Department
• Elizabeth Estevez, Parks Capital Projects Manager, Parks and Recreation Department
• Herman Fung, Project Manager, Office of Capital Improvement Projects
• Pablo Gomez, Senior Capital Projects Coordinator, Office of Housing and Community
Services
• Rodney Perez, Project Manager, Police Department
I have also appointed the following individuals as alternates:
• Cristina Cabrera, C.D.B.G. Projects Coordinator, Office of Housing and Community
Services
• Jose Del Risco, Assistant Director, Parks and Recreation Department
• Kelya Rodriguez, Project Manager, Office of Capital Improvement Projects
