DATE:
SUBJECT: Update on Miami-Dade County Legal Advertisements and Public Notices
Website.
I am writing to inform you of an important update we received from Miami-Dade County
regarding the development of a website to publish legal advertisements and public notices.
A copy of the County email is attached for your reference.
The email, sent by David Leyte-Vidal, Governmental and Community Liaison, outlines the
current status and upcoming steps for the website's implementation. The highlights
include:
1. The website is now ready for user testing, which will commence next week with County
Departments and the Clerk of the Board.
2. Concurrent efforts are being made with the County Attorney's Office to finalize the
lnterlocal Agreement (ILA) form, which will be presented to the Board of County
Commissioners (BCC) for approval. The ILA is sponsored by Senator Rene Garcia.
3. It is anticipated that the BCC will consider the ILA before the summer recess in late
July.
4. Following the approval of the ILA, Miami-Dade County will initiate the onboarding
process for municipalities that wish to use the site for legal notices. The City of Miami
Beach authorized the use of the County's website to publish legal advertisements and
public notices via Resolution No. 2024-32985 approved at the April 3, 2024 City
Commission meeting.
Please review the attached email for additional details. Should you have any questions or

Good afternoon municipal partners,
I want to provide an update on the website Miami-Dade County is developing to publish legal advertisements and public
notices. Our team has been working diligently to get this accomplished in a timely fashion and are now in the final stages
of approval.
The website is currently ready for user testing, which will commence next week with county departments and the Clerk
of the Board. Concurrently, we are working with the County Attorney's Office to finalize the lnterlocal Agreement (ILA)
form to take back to the Board of County Commissioners (BCC) for approval. We hope the ILA, sponsored by Senator
Rene Garcia, will be considered by the BCC prior to the summer recess in late July.
Once the ILA is approved, we will follow up immediately to begin onboarding municipalities that wish to use the publicly
accessible site for legal notices. In the meantime, please feel free to reach out if you have any questions.
Thank you,
fl~
