SUBJECT: Production Industry Council Motion - June 27, 2024
The purpose of this Letter to the Commission ("LTC") is to inform the Mayor and City Commission of a
motion passed by the Miami Beach Production Industry Council ("PIC") during their Thursday, June 27,
2024, meeting.
At the meeting, staff presented proposed changes to the Film and Print Guidelines, which included
updated language based on input from various City Departments and ensure best practices. The
Guidelines are to be presented for approval at the July 24, 2024, City Commission meeting.
MOTION: Motion to approve the proposed amendments to the Film and Print Guidelines.
Motion was moved by Christina LaBuzetta and seconded by Igor Shteyrenberg.
Motion passed unanimously (6-0)
Members in attendance: Barbara Goicoechea (Chair), Igor Shteyrenberg, (Vice Chair), Christina
LaBuzetta, Aleksandar Sale Stojanovic, Jessica Londono and Josh Blaise.
