SUBJECT:Personnel Board Group 3 Election
Pursuant to City Code Section 2-190.69,the Office of the City Clerk commenced election
procedures to elect the employee representative of Group 3 for the Personnel Board,for the term
commencing August 1,2024 and ending July 31,2027.Group 3 consists of "all other classified
employees."
On May 25,2024,a notice was sent to eligible Group 3 employees informing them that an election
had been called to elect the Group 3 employee representative to the Personnel Board.The notice
was disseminated via e-mail to Department Directors,Division Directors,Management Team,and
Citywide,with instructions to post and distribute the notice among their employees.Group 3
employees had from Monday,June 3,2024 to Friday,June 14,2024 to declare their interest in
qualifying to run as the Group 3 employee representative on the Personnel Board.
The polls opened from July 8 to July 11,2024,from 8:30 a.m.until 5:00 p.m.The Office of the City
Clerk proceeded to open the ballot box on Friday,July 12,2014 at 8:35 a.m.and counted the
ballots.There were a total of 46 votes cast:40 votes were cast for Delroy Ireland;and 6 votes were
cast for Evette L.Phillips.
Based on the above results,Mr.Delroy Ireland,from the Sanitation Department,is therefore elected
as Representative of Group 3 for the Personnel Board for the three-year term ending on July 31,
2027.

We,the undersigned Clerk and Witness,do hereby certify that:
