Seniors Police Ball
The purpose of this Letter to Commission (L TC) is to inform the Mayor and the City Commission
about the City of Miami Beach's Seniors Police Ball to be held on Tuesday, September 24, 2024
from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. in the Grand Ballroom of the Miami Beach Convention Center located
at 1901 Washington Avenue.
The Miami Beach Police Department is partnering with the City's Parks and Recreation
Department to host the event designed for the community's 55+ population. The event has been
widely successful and well-attended in the past with the City's seniors actively engaging with City
and police personnel through conversation, performances, dancing and photos over a three
course meal.
As one of the most impactful and fun events for area seniors, the City Commission's continued
support and participation at the event are greatly appreciated. The seniors thoroughly enjoy taking
a break to engage with their elected officials and City staff to dance the evening away.
