Black Affairs Advisory Committee Motions -December 10,2024
The purpose of this Letter to Commission (LTC)is to update the Mayor and Commission on
four motions made during the December 10,2024,Black Affairs Advisory Committee
("BAA C")Meeting.
Motion:
The BM C would like to honor Olympic athlete Twanisha Terry in the upcoming February
Community Awards 2025.
Motion was made by Valerie Crawford,seconded by Luidgi Mary and passed unanimously.
Motion:
The BM C approved the 2025 Art Deco Weekend Programming as presented by the Miami
Design Preservation League.
Motion was made by Luidgi Mary,seconded by Valerie Crawford and passed unanimously.
