Motion passed by acclamation. The Sustainability Committee urges the Mayor and City Committee to pass a resolution similar to the resolution passed by the City of Miami Climate Resilience Committee urging Miami Dade County to postpone the decision on the location of the new waste-to-energy incinerator,to allow more time for public engagement and solutions.
