Effectively campaigned against proposed "Zero Tolerance"Policing policy during high impact periods. #MBHistory Program Video Series Curriculum honoring the contributions of LGBTQ,Hispanic,Black &Jewish communities to the development of the City of Miami Beach -Partnering with the City's Youth Commission.Video Curriculum will be utilized by Miami Beach Schools. Provided effective enforcement,traffic.parking &zoning strategies adopted by City Administration for Spring Break,Memorial Day weekend &other High Impact Periods. City Proclamation to the Black Affairs Advisory Committee honoring the historic contributions of Black Businesses in Miami Beach for Black Business Month. Black Affairs Advisory Committee City Proclamation for the DeAnne Connolly Graham Black &Jewish Art Collaboration series with the Greater Miami Jewish Federation. Successfully co-sponsored the MIA Legacy's 20th Anniversary Gala at the Loews Hotel. Successfully co-sponsored the Washington Ave BID's Muhammad Ali Art Exhibition. Successfully co-sponsored the Annual Love Is Love Hip Hop Block Party at the Normandy Fountain. Successfully co-sponsored the Annual Miami Beach Dr Martin Luther King Day celebrations with MDPL. City Proclamation with the French Consulate honoring WorldWar herolArtistJosephine Baker who desegregated Miami Beach entertainment venues. Successfully Advocated for Legacy Real Estate's Barclay Redevelopment Proposal. Co Sponsored Human Rights Ordinance to prohibit hiring discrimination at the City of Miami Beach. Effectively campaigned for Chief Wayne Jones to be Miami Beach's first Black Chief of Police.
