A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, CONGRATULATING MIAMI BEACH FOR BEING
NAMED THE TOP CITY TO VISIT IN NORTH AMERICA BY TRAVEL &
LEISURE MAGAZINE.
WHEREAS, the City of Miami Beach is widely recognized as one of the premier
destinations for travelers, offering a unique combination of beautiful beaches, vibrant culture,
world -class dining, dynamic nightlife, and exciting attractions; and
WHEREAS, Travel & Leisure Magazine, a leading global travel publication, recently
named Miami Beach the "Top City to Visit in North America" in its 2025 World's Best Awards,
affirming the city's status as a top -tier destination for both international and domestic visitors; and
WHEREAS, in its article, Travel & Leisure highlighted Miami Beach's "rich history, unique
art deco architecture, lively nightlife, and the irresistible allure of its iconic beaches," noting that
"the city offers an unparalleled mix of urban flair and seaside relaxation," making it the perfect
place for travelers seeking both adventure and relaxation; and
WHEREAS, the article further celebrated Miami Beach's dynamic food scene, artistic
vibrancy, extraordinary collection of museums and year-round cultural events, recognizing the
city's commitment to creating a diverse, welcoming, and unforgettable experience for all who visit;
and
WHEREAS, this prestigious recognition is a testament to the dedication and hard work of
the City Commission, deeply committed City of Miami Beach employees, residents, local
businesses, and all those who contribute to Miami Beach's continued growth, development, and
success as a global tourism hub; and
WHEREAS, this recognition further solidifies Miami Beach's position as a premier
destination, attracting visitors from around the world and providing an opportunity to showcase
the beauty, culture, and energy of our city to a global audience.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the Mayor and City
Commission hereby congratulate the City of Miami Beach for being named the Top City to Visit
in North America by Travel & Leisure Magazine and extend our heartfelt appreciation to all those
who have worked to make Miami Beach a world -class destination for travelers.
