A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,FLORIDA,WAIVING THE CITY'S PORTION OF
THE BOUCHER BROTHERS DISPLACEMENT FEE REQUIRED PER
THE BOUCHER BROTHERS CONCESSION AGREEMENT IN THE
APPROXIMATE AMOUNT OF $44,565.42,FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE
2025 TYR WODAPALOOZA EVENT WHICH TOOK PLACE IN JANUARY
23-26,2025,IN THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH.
WHEREAS,Wodapalooza,LLC,the applicant/organizer for TYR Wodapalooza
(the "Festival"),a premier fitness competition featuring athletes from around the world,
took place at Lummus Park Beachfront from January 11,2025,through January 30,
2025,including load-in and load-out;and
WHEREAS,the Festival is a multi-day event that brings together fitness
enthusiasts,athletes,and spectators to celebrate health,wellness,and athleticism;and
WHEREAS,the Festival was held at Lummus Park Beachfront between 6th
Street and 10th Street,showcasing various fitness competitions,vendor expos,and
community activities,drawing thousands of participants and spectators to the City of
Miami Beach;and
WHEREAS,the organizers of the Festival are requesting for the City to waive its
portion of the Boucher Brothers displacement fee required per the Boucher Brothers
Concession Agreement in the approximate amount of $44,565.42;and
WHEREAS,the City has granted a similar waiver of the Festival organizers for the
2021 and 2022 WPL Beach Polo Events.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,FLORIDA,that the Mayor and City
Commission hereby waive the City's portion of the Boucher Brothers displacement fee
required per the Boucher Brothers Concession Agreement in the approximate amount of
$44,565.42,for the benefit of the 2025 TYR Wodapalooza Event which took place on
January 23-26,2025 in the City of Miami Beach.

BACKGROUND/HISTORY
Wodapalooza,LLC,the applicant/organizer for the Wodapalooza Fitness Festival,a premier
fitness competition featuring athletes from around the world,took place at Lummus Park
Beachfront from January 11,2025,through January 30,2025,including load-in and load-out.
The Festival is a multi-day event that brings together fitness enthusiasts,athletes,and spectators
to celebrate health,wellness,and athleticism.
The Festival was held at Lummus Park Beachfront between 6th Street and 10th Street,
showcasing various fitness competitions,vendor expos,and community activities,drawing
thousands of participants and spectators to the City of Miami Beach.
ANALYSIS
The organizers of the Event,Loud and Live Inc.,are requesting for the City to waive its portion of
the Boucher Brothers displacement fee required per the Boucher Brothers Concession
Agreement in the approximate amount of $44,565.42.
The City has granted similar waivers for event organizers for the 2022 and 2023 World Polo
League Beach Polo World Cup events via Resolutions 2022-32116 and Resolutions 2023-32580.

The Administration recommends adopting the resolution waiving the City's portion of the
Boucher Brothers displacement fee required per the Boucher Brothers Concession Agreement
in the approximate amount of $44,565.42,for the benefit of the 2025 TYR Wodapalooza event
which took place on January 23-26,2025 in the City of Miami Beach.
