In September 2016, Miami Beach Youth Commission was designated to provide the youth of Miami Beach with a vehicle to learn about government, participate in the
process of City government, represent and articulate the needs of youth in the City, and provide recommendations to the Mayor and City Commissioners on issues
and programs affecting the youth and teen population in the City.

- Draft article to be included in the May news letter recapping accomplishments of Youth Commission
during 2024-2025 school year
- Finalize at the April 22 YC meeting
8. SAFE Space LGBTQ+ Resource
9. Environment and Sustainability (Composting Initiatives, Motion made on October 15, 2024)
10. 2025 FLC Youth Council Legislative Action Days Program (March 25-26, 2025 Tallahassee)
11. Council2College Scholarship (Deadline April 1, 2025)
- Letter of recommendation requests must be in by 3/18 to Dr. Rosenfeld
12. Dual Enrollment transcripts (MBSH) is Friday, February 28 2025
