Background Design development and community involvement has been an ongoing process for several years for the North Shore Revitalization Project This Project movement through the various steps of the design and the creation of the Special Assessment District have insured sufficient public involvement and acceptance of the Project and its design. The City will receive a portion of the Sunshine State Fund back through special assessments on property owners at the completion of the Project. Conclusion The North Shore Revitalization Project has been endorsed by the citizens of the North Beach area. The citizens have authorized the City to construct the Project and charge them annually for the cost of the improvements. Therefore, the City should move the Project forward and appropriate the funds necessary for the Project construction. JGP/RJN/cp AGENDA r _ G ITEM (am, DATE 1 - ` 2-95
