FROM REALLOCATED BOND FUND 351 INTO EXISTING WORK
ORDER NUMBER 2066 TO CORRECT THE EXISTING DEFICIT AND
TO PROVIDE FUNDING FOR EMERGENCY ENVIRONMENTAL
SERVICES.
ADMINISTRATION RECOMMENDATION
The Administration recommends the adoption of the attached resolution which authorizes
the appropriation of $85,075 from Reallocation Bond Fund 351 into existing Work Order
Number 2066. The funds will be used to correct an existing deficit in Work Order 2066
and to fund professional services agreements for emergency environmental services at
the City's Mechanical Maintenance facility, Police Station, the Variety Hotel right-of-way
and Bayshore Golf Course, respectively.
BACKGROUND
Work Order Number 2066, which has been used to fund environmental compliance
restoration work at the City's Mechanical Maintenance facility, the Variety Hotel right-of-
way and Bayshore Nursery facilities, has an existing deficit of $27,807. In addition, the
City must expedite the implementation of additional environmental compliance
restoration efforts at the Mechanical Maintenance facility, Police Station, the Variety
Hotel right-of-way and Bayshore Golf Course, respectively, in order to prevent the Dade
County Department of Environmental Resources Management from pursuing additional
enforcement actions against the City.
CONCLUSION
The City Commission should authorize the appropriation of $85,075 from Reallocated
Bond Fund 351 into existing Work Order Number 2066 to correct the existing deficit and
to provide for emergency environmental services. AGENDA ITEM C_.-9 - L
