RESOLUTION NO. 95-21828
A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND CITY COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, AMENDING
RESOLUTION NO. 95-21655, WHICH ESTABLISHED THE
BOARD AND COMMITTEE REVIEW COMMITTEE; SAID
AMENDMENT CHANGING THE NAME OF THE
COMMITTEE TO DESIGNATE IT AS AN AD HOC
COMMITTEE,AND EXTENDING THE DURATION OF THE
COMMITTEE FROM NOVEMBER 22, 1995 TO APRIL 17,
1996, AND INCREASING THE MEMBERSHIP OF THE
COMMITTEE FROM SEVEN (7) TO EIGHT (8) MEMBERS.
WHEREAS,on July 26, 1995,the Mayor and City Commission approved Resolution No.
95-21655, which established a new committee to be known as the Board and Committee Review
Committee, having the function of evaluating the performance and effectiveness of each presently
existing City board and committee and making recommendations to the Mayor and City Commission
regarding same; and
WHEREAS,the Committee was to report its findings and recommendations to the Mayor
and City Commission on or before November 22, 1995 but, as appointments to the Committee were
delayed,it is herein recommended that the duration of the Committee be extended to April 17, 1996;
and
WHEREAS, it is also recommended that the Committee be designated as an ad hoc
committee and the name of the Committee changed to reflect this, and that the membership of the
Committee be increased from seven(7)to eight(8) members.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the Mayor and City
Commission of the City of Miami Beach, Florida, amend Resolution No. 95-21655, which
established the Board and Committee Review Committee; said amendment providing for a change
of name, designating same as an ad hoc committee, and extending the duration of the Committee
from November 22, 1995 to April 17, 1996,and increasing the membership of the Committee from
seven(7) to eight (8) members.
