2025 OLA BEACH TENNIS AND WELLNESS EXPERIENCE
The purpose of this Letter to Commission (L TC) is to provide information on the Parks and
Recreation Department's partnership with OLA Beach Tennis to host the City's first 2025 OLA
Beach Tennis & Wellness Experience at Lummus Park in South Beach.

Get ready for an exciting day of OLA Beach Tennis as players of all ages and skill levels come
together for this wellness-focused event at 12th Street and Ocean Drive. Hosted by OLA Beach
Tennis in partnership with the Parks & Recreation Department, this activation introduces our
community to a fun, accessible sport that promotes active living. OLA's mission is to inspire
healthier lifestyles through beach tennis and community, sharing this passion globally with the goal
of driving the sport's growth in the United States as they look ahead to the 2032 Summer Olympics.
Participants will enjoy OLA open play sessions, beginner-friendly clinics, and wellness perks such
as cupping, cold plunges, massages, HIIT classes, healthy refreshments from local vendors, and
more. Registration is online with discounted rates for Miami Beach residents. Rackets for play will
be provided.
