Center Drive)
Fee: Free
The Miami Beach Parks and Recreation Department invites Seniors ages 55+ to attend a Senior
Prom event and enjoy an evening of food, dancing, fun, and good company. This event is free,
and transportation will be provided. Space is limited and RSVP's are required for admission to the
event. RSVP's can be made in person at Flamingo Park, Scott Rakow Youth Center, or North
Shore Park Youth Center or by emailing XavierGuerrero@miamibeachfl.gov beginning April 21.
Event: Mayors' Chess Challenge
Date: Sunday, May 18, 2025
Time: 10:00 a.m. -12:00 p.m.
Location: Scott Rakow Youth Center (2700 Sheridan Avenue)
Fee: Free
Join us for a fun and friendly chess event. Players of all ages and skill levels are welcome. Free
instruction and light refreshments will be provided. Game room and ice-skating rink are also
available for free during the event.
