The Police Memorial Ceremony is observed in the United States in conjunction with Peace Officers Memorial Day and National Police Week to pay tribute to peace officers who have died, or who have been disabled, in the line of duty. This ceremony is a heartfelt tradition at the Miami Beach Police Department to honor the 10 Miami Beach fallen officers and their surviving families. 1 . Light refreshments will follow the ceremony. You are also invited to join Miami Beach police personnel at the 44th Annual Miami-Dade Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Ceremony honoring fallen officers from every police department and law enforcement agency in Miami-Dade County that same evening.
