A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, DIRECTING THE CITY ADMINISTRATION TO
DEVELOP AN INITIATIVE, THROUGH THE CITY'S ECONOMIC
DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT, TO ATTRACT ISRAELI AND JEWISH-
OWNED COMPANIES TO ESTABLISH A PRESENCE IN THE CITY OF MIAMI
BEACH.
WHEREAS, the City of Miami Beach recognizes the value of fostering international
business relationships and creating a dynamic, diverse economic environmenk and
WHEREAS, Israeli and Jewish-owned companies have a strong track record of
innovation, entrepreneurship, and global economic impact, particularly in sectors such as
technology, health, sustainability, and culture; and
WHEREAS, atUacting such companies to establish a presence in Miami Beach would not
only enhance the City's economic vitality but also strengthen its ties with international business
communities and foster cultural exchange; and
WHEREAS, the City's Economic Development Department is well-positioned to design
and implement a focused initiative to promote Miami Beach as a desirable and strategic location
for Israeli and Jewish-owned companies to operate, grow, and invest; and
WHEREAS, this initiative aligns with the City's broader economic development goals and
its commitment to being a welcoming, inclusive, and globally connected community.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the Mayor and City Commission hereby direct the
City Administration to develop an initiative, through the City's Economic Development
Department, to attract Israeli and Jewish-owned companies to establish a presence in the City of
Miami Beach.
