A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, DIRECTING THE CITY ADMINISTRATION TO
EVALUATE THE COSTS AND PLANNING REQUIREMENTS NECESSARY
TO ENHANCE THE PERMANENT ELECTRICAL SERVICE TO ALTOS DEL
MAR PARK.
WHEREAS, Altos del Mar Park, located at 241 77th Street, Miami Beach, serves as an
important public space in North Beach, hosting various community events and recreational
activities; and
WHEREAS, permanent electrical service at Altos del Mar Park will improve the Altos del
Mark Park's functionality, support ezpanded communiry programming, and is an ecafriendly
solution; and
WHEREAS, at its meeting on April 8, 2025, the North Beach Community Redevelopment
Agency Advisory Committee adopted a motion recommending that City evaluate the costs and
planning requirements necessary to enhance the permanent electrical service to Altos del Mar
Park; and
WHEREAS, the North Beach Community Redevelopment Agency Advisory Committee
further recommended that, a project budget be developed, and the North Beach Community
Redevelopment Agency fund the enhancements; and
WHEREAS, it is in the public interest to pursue sustainable and community-enhancing
infrastructure improvements in public parks; and
WHEREAS, the City Administration is hereby directed to identify and evaluate the costs
and planning requirements necessary to bring permanent electrical service to Altos del Mar Park.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA that the Mayor and the City
Commission hereby direct the City Administration to evaluate the costs and planning
requirements necessary to provide enhance permanent electrical service to Altos Del Mark Park.
