Mayor's 41 st Street Committee Motion
This Letter to the Commission ("L TC") provides an update on a motion passed during the April 17,
2025, Mayor's 41 st Street Committee meeting.
Members Present: Chair Bonnie Crabtree, Vice Chair Michael Burnstine, Jerri Hertzberg Bassuk
(Via Zoom), Betty Behar, Rana Florida (Via Zoom), Robin Jacobs, Michelle Lari, and Jeremy
Wachtel
Motion 1: The Mayor's 41 st Street Committee recommends the Mayor and Commission support
the possibility of bringing the successful Kid's Marketplace by Slingshot to activate near 41 st Street
in November 2025 and allocate $5,000 for fiscal year 2025-2026 specifically for this project.
