The Finance and Citywide Projects Committee has not yet considered the Ordinance on an agenda, therefore, this item is recommended to be open and continued so that the Committee may review the Ordinance. JS/DT/mem 277 ORDINANCE NO.------~ AN ORDINANCE OF THE MAYOR AND CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 1605, THE UNCLASSIFIED EMPLOYEES SALARY ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA (THE "ORDINANCE"), BY AMENDING THE SALARY RANGES AND ESTABLISHING COMPENSATION PROVISIONS FOR THE CITY MANAGER AND CITY ATTORNEY; PROVIDING FOR REPEALER, SEVERABILITY, CODIFICATION, AND AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the Mayor and City Commission wish to amend the Unclassified Salary Ordinance to establish certain compensation categories for Manager and City Attorney. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. Ordinance No. 1605, the Unclassified Ordinance, is hereby amended as follows: CLASS AND PAY GRADES, SALARIES AND CLASSIFICATIONS A. It is the intention of Mayor and City Commission of the City of Miami Beach, and it is hereby ordained that the provisions of this Ordinance shall become and be made a part of the Code the City of Miami Beach, Florida. The sections of this Ordinance may be renumbered or relettered to accomplish such intention, and the word "ordinance" may be changed to "section," "article," or other appropriate word. SECTION 5.
