At that time, affected property owners and other interested parties will have the opportunity to address the City Commission regarding: • The propriety and advisability of continuing the services to be funded by special assessments. • The associated cost of the services and the proposed payment method. • The specific assessment amounts assigned to each benefited property. Following the public hearing, the City Commission will convene as an Equalizing Board to consider any objections and make any necessary adjustments to ensure fairness and equity in the final assessment roll.
