The Police/Citizens Relations Committee has been reviewing this year's budget request for the
police department. We are requesting that the following items be approved for next year's budget.
1.Upgrade to the property and offsite storage facility
2.Tenant improvements for the MBPD training unit at SSCC
3.Axon Fusus program
4.Operations ammunition increase
5.Digital forensic and crypto currency tracing investigative software
6.Advanced mobile ALPR and in car video solutions
7.CCTV/LPR cameras maintenance contract
8.Drone maintenance
9.Axon Air / Skydio drone docking station
10.PAL Summer work program and S.T. E.M. program

We also believe that it is important to enhance the Marine Patrol unit. There are speeders and
other unruly behavior on the water and this needs to be monitored.
