WHEREAS, on September 11,20i9, the Mayorantl Ciry Commission atlopted Resolution
No. 2019-30958, approving an agreemenf between the City of Miami Beach("CMB") antl Miami-
Datle Counry School Board ('M-0CPS") lo provide tlual enrollment courses for the 2019- 2020
school year taught at Miami Beach Senior High School (�he "High School"), and Miaml Beach
Nautilus Middle School f/k/a Nautilus Middle School (the "Midtlle School"), through Miami Dade
Coliege ('MDC"), for college credit for Bth gratle scudents attending the Mitldle School, Miami
Beach Fienberg Fisher K-8 center, and for 9th, 10�h, 11th antl 121h gratle studenls atlending Ne
High School, in an amount no[to exceetl S 28,000.00 ('City' s Contributiod); and apDroving Ihe
funding o/lhe City' s Contdbution for the 2019-2020 school year from the City's 2018- 2019 FV
budge[; and further approving ihe City s Contribullon to the program for each subsequent school
year, subject to Funtling apD�oval during the City's budgetary process anC provided that the Clry'

("Ag�eemenP') setting forth Me guidelines for Ihe Ciry ro support the dual enrollment courses

Agreement lo mntinue the program for the 2020-2021 school year, as MOC resources pertniNed;

No. 202131572, approving Flonda International Universiry ("FIU") as an adtlitional providei of

WHEREAS, on May 8, 2021,the Parties ezecuted Amendment No 2 ro t�e Agreement lo
allow CM8 to mazimize the number of duai enrollment course offenngs for the 2020-2021 school

2022-32099, authonzing ihe Ci�y Manager to execute an agreement with the UNversiry of floritla
("UF")antl Miami-DaOe Counry PuElic Schools(M-DCPS), to provide tlual enrollment coursas at
Miami Beach Senior High School for the 2022-2023 school year, in an amount nol to exceetl
$13 d32.00, and every subsequent school year, subject to annual budget approval by t�e Ciry
Commission of the City's conMbution for each subsequent school yeac and
WHEREAS, on August 5,2022,the PaM1ies exewtetl AmendmeN No 4 to the Agreement
to allow CMB to maximize the number of tlual enroliment course oHerings for Ihe 2022-2023
school year, 6ased upon the approvetl butlget for ihe program; and
WHEREAS, to promote educatlonal opportunilies through the dual enrollment pmgram in
Miami-Oatle County, MDC and M-DCPS enteretl into the 2023-2024 Dual Enrollment Articulation
Agreement in July 2023, which is incorporated herein by reference antl aneched hereto as

WHEREAS, ro promote educationel opportunilies thmugh the tlual enrollmen� program in
