Granado, City Clerk 'f2{/ DATE: June 16, 2025 SUBJECT: Parks & Recreational Facilities Advisory Board Motions The purpose of this Letter to Commission (L TC) is to inform the Mayor and Commission of the motion passed by the Parks and Recreational Facilities Advisory Board at its meeting on June 10 , 2025. MOTION# 1: The Parks and Recreational Facilities Advisory Board recommends that the City of Miami Beach Parks and Recreation Department install visible and accessible signage at all city parks displaying a clearly marked emergency contact number. These signs should be strategically placed in high -traffic areas and include clear instructions for park users on how to report emergencies or safety concerns. Motion made by: Sean Smith Motion seconded by : Joseph Hernandez Motion passes : Unanimously (10 -0) Members Present for Motion : Sean Smith, Janie Hayes, Joseph Hernandez, Shannon Koonin, David Nguah, Joshua Lifshultz, Donald Goldberg, Gayle Durham, Daniel Aronson, and Steve Cohn. Members not Present: Joelle Gringarten MOTION#2: The Parks and Recreational Facilities Advisory Board recommends extending the Rhythm Foundation's management agreement for the Miami Beach Bandshell.
