The Sustainability Committee met on June 26,2025 and passed the motion below:
The Sustainability Committee supports the Monument Island restoration project and its public benefits,
including:
•recreational use for the public including kayaking,paddle boarding,and swimming
•reduction oflitter on the island which helps to reduce pollution of Biscayne Bay
•preservation of sea grass and other natural resources
Motion passed by acclamation.
