SUBJECT: Motions from the Miami Beach Commission for Women
The purpose of this Letter to Commission is to provide you with the motions made at the Miami Beach
Commission for Women meeting held on July 1, 2025.
Motion #1 : The Miami Beach Commission for Women requests that the SoundScape Cinema Series at
SoundScape Park include a minimum of one feature film centered on women's contributions, culture, or
social progress as part of the programing in March for Women's History Month. The Commission for
Women kindly recommends the first film to be screened to be "Nyad".
