SUBJECT: Evaluation Committee Relative to Request for Proposals (RFP) No. 2025-272-ND
for Palm Pruning and Tree Trimming Services for Various Locations Throughout
the City
The purpose of this Letter to Commission (L TC) is to update the Mayor and City Commission on
the status of Request for Proposals (RFP) No. 2025-272-ND. The RFP seeks proposals from
qualified firms to provide palm pruning and tree trimming maintenance services.
Proposals pursuant to this RFP were received on July 2, 2025. The responsive proposals will be
reviewed by the Evaluation Committee in accordance with the criteria established in the RFP.
I have appointed the following individuals to serve on the Evaluation Committee:
•Michael Atkin, Urban Forester, Environment and Sustainability Department
•Tracy Hejl, Financial Analyst Ill, Public Works Department
•Jeremy Hinkle, Operations Supervisor, Parks and Recreation Department
•Monique Richardson, Greenspace Division Director, Public Works Department
I have also appointed the following individuals as alternates:
•Christian Camacho, Project Manager, Office of Capital Improvement Projects
•Albert Knight, Park Supervisor, Parks and Recreation Department
