Ballot Question #1--asking whether the City should enter into an agreement (or agreements) with the selected Master Developer in the Project for the development of what we have referred to as the "Base Case;" that is for the development of just the Convention Center improvements (including the ballroom) and the hotel; and (as an alternative to Ballot Question #1) 2. Ballot Question #2-asking whether the City should enter into an agreement(s) with the selected Developer for the development of the "Base Case", AND the additional components proposed by the Developer, which also contemplate the lease and development of City property with the Project site for additional uses, including retail, entertainment, and residential uses. I am requesting the city attorney draft ballot language based on the above for further discussion and consideration by the City Commission at a subsequent meeting. Final ballot language, when approved by the City Commission, should be placed on a City-wide ballot to accommodate the Project schedule. Thank you for your attention to this matter.
