Morales, City Manager DATE: October 29,2014 SUBJECT: REFERRAL TO THE FINANCE D CITYWIDE PROJECTS COMMITTEE . RISK MANAGEMENT FUND IAL DETERMIN ED LIABILITY An actuarial study for the Risk Management Fund was recently completed on October 21, 2014, that is anticipated to have a material impact on the budget. The impact of the actuarial study on both the FY 2013114 and FY 2014115 budget is proposed to be discussed at the next Finance and Citywide Projects Committee meeting on November 121n. Any impacts to the FY 2013/14 budget can be addressed as part of the Year-End budget amendment scheduled for the November 19th Commission meeting. The City has 60 days following the end of the fiscal year to amend a budget for that year.
