Ghapter 2, Article VIl, Division 3 of the City Code of Miami Beach entitled "Lobbyists" requires the
registration of all lobbyists with the City Clerk prior to engaging in any lobbying activity with the City
Commission, any City Board or Committee, or any personnel as defined in the subject Code sections.
Copies of the City Code sections on lobbyists laws are available in the City Clerk's office. Questions
regarding the provisions of the Code should be directed to the Office of the City Attorney.

RM-3 District to Permit the Addition of Bolconies on Non-Contributing
Buildings.
Pleose ploce the obove on the October 29, 2014 City Commission consent ogendo.
Currently the construction of new bolconies on existing buildings with structurol columns
would be considered on "oddition" ond therefore ore only permitted on the first 5
stories. This request would ollow the bolconies to the height of the building regordless of
the columns.

SUBJECT: REFERRAL TO THE FINANCE D CITYWIDE PROJECTS COMMITTEE .
RISK MANAGEMENT FUND IAL DETERMIN ED LIABILITY
An actuarial study for the Risk Management Fund was recently completed on October 21,
2014, that is anticipated to have a material impact on the budget. The impact of the actuarial
study on both the FY 2013114 and FY 2014115 budget is proposed to be discussed at the
next Finance and Citywide Projects Committee meeting on November 121n.
Any impacts to the FY 2013/14 budget can be addressed as part of the Year-End budget
amendment scheduled for the November 19th Commission meeting. The City has 60 days
following the end of the fiscal year to amend a budget for that year. The Amendment would
address any necessary budget amendments required by state law for funds, departments, or
accounts that exceed their appropriated authority per the year-end close-out process.
