CORRECTIONS C2A C2B C7N R5I 18 24 462 433 In the memo under minimum qualifications it states that the bidder submitted only 3 references, when the bidder actually submitted the 5 required references. Make the following edits: -The contractor’s services will include providing the “purge” policy for any agency at which a candidate has been previously employed. -Any problematic findings, including social media searches, resulting from the background checks will be provided to HR. HR will allow all applicants to address findings. -The requirement for additional character references is an extra step that is not typical for Fire Departments. All potential applicants are already State Certified as Firefighters and have already had previous Character References completed by the State. We feel that this is a duplicate step and not necessary. We can see where it would definitely be a requirement for Law Enforcement applicants given that they carry weapons. However, if the Commission would like to see it added under Fire, we will gladly put it in as a requirement. Accept Recomm., Purchase Additional Conducted Electronic Weapons. (Moved from R7C) Page 440, amend Sec. 82-7(b)(1): City contractor means a contractor, vendor, commercial lessee, concessionaire of the City, or operator of a City facility or property.
