The Fall edition of MB Magazine will include a bilingual article (English and Spanish) containing official
information regarding the November 4, 2025 General Election and the December 9, 2025 Run-Off Election,
if required.
The article, titled "Your Voice, Your Vote: Help Shape the Future of Miami Beach," outlines:
•General Election and Run-Off details
•Key dates and deadlines
•Voting methods available to residents
•Accessibility resources for voters with special needs
•Updates to the election calendar and installation schedule
•Guidance for voting during Art Basel weekend
MB Magazine is distributed to all Miami Beach households, ensuring citywide access to election-related
information.

2025 MIAMI BEACH ELECTIONS:WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
On Tuesday,November 4,2025,from 7 a.m.to 7 p.m.,Miami Beach residents will elect a Mayor
and Commissioners in Groups I,II,and Ill.If no candidate receives a majority vote in any group,
a Run-Off Election will be held on Tuesday,December 9,2025,during the same hours.
This election is a key opportunity for residents to shape the future of our City.Whether voting by
mail,during Early Voting,or in person on Election Day,this guide outlines essential dates,
deadlines,voting options,accessibility services,and recent updates to the election process.Every
vote matters;let's make sure yours is counted.
KEY DATES AND HOW TO VOTE
General Election
•Monday,October 6,2025:Deadline for the Miami-Dade Supervisor of Elections to receive a
Voter Registration Application.
•Monday,October 20,2025,through Sunday,November 2,2025.Early voting will be held
at the following two sites located in the City of Miami Beach:
o Miami Beach City Hall
1700 Convention Center Drive,1st Floor Conference Room,Miami Beach.
o North Shore Branch Library
7501 Collins Avenue,Miami Beach.
Early Voting hours will be as follows:
•October 20-24 (Monday to Friday):7 a.m.to 3 p.m.
•October 25-26 (Saturday and Sunday):8 a.m.to 4 p.m.
•October 27--31 (Monday to Friday):11 a.m.to 7 p.m.
•November 1--2 (Saturday and Sunday):8 a.m.to 4 p.m.
A secure Vote-by-Mail Drop Box will be available and staffed at each Early Voting location
during all early voting hours.
•Thursday,October 23,2025,at 5 p.m.:Deadline for the Miami-Dade Supervisor of Elections
to receive (not just postmarked)a request for a Vote-by-Mail ballot for the General Election.
•Tuesday,November 4,2025,at 7 p.m.:Deadline for the Miami-Dade Supervisor of
Elections to receive (not just postmarked)a completed Vote-by-Mail ballot if returned through
the U.S.Postal Service.If a voter waits until Election Day to submit their Vote-by-Mail ballot,
they can drop it off at the Miami-Dade Supervisor of Elections (Main Office),2700 NW 87
Avenue,Miami,FL 33172 by 7 p.m.,or they can choose to vote in person at their precinct
once election officials confirm that the voter's ballot has not been received.
•Tuesday,November 4,2025,from 7 a.m.to 7 p.m.,Election Day:Vote at the designated
precinct listed on your Voter Information Card issued by the Miami-Dade Supervisor of
Elections.
Run-Off Election (If Required)
•Monday,November 10,2025:Deadline for the Miami-Dade Supervisor of Elections to
receive a Voter Registration Application.
•Friday,December 5,2025,through Sunday,December 7,2025:Early voting will be held
at four locations in the City of Miami Beach,with hours from 7 a.m.to 7 p.m.each day.
Early Voting will be available at these four locations:
o South Shore Community Center

o Muss Park

U.S.Postal Service.If a voter waits until Election Day to submit their Vote-by-Mail ballot,they
can drop it off at the Miami-Dade Supervisor of Elections (Main Office),2700 NW 87 Avenue,
Miami,FL,by 7 p.m.,or they can choose to vote in person at their precinct once election
officials confirm that the voter's ballot has not been received.
•Tuesday,December 9,2025,from 7 a.m.to 7 p.m.,Run-Off Election Day:Vote at the
designated precinct printed on your Voter Information Card issued by the Miami-Dade
Supervisor of Elections.
ART BASEL AND EARLY VOTING:PLAN AHEAD
Early Voting for the Run-Off Election (if required)will take place from Friday,December 5
through Sunday,December 7,2025,the same weekend as Art Basel Miami Beach,one of the
city's largest and most internationally attended events.With increased activity citywide,voters are
encouraged to plan ahead and choose the voting method that works best for them.
What's New for 2025 Run-Off Early Voting?
•Four early voting sites across Miami Beach,strategically situated in South Beach,Mid
Beach,and North Beach to ensure easy access for all residents.Here are the locations you
can visit:
South Shore Community Center -833 6 Street (South Beach)
Miami Beach City Hall -1700 Convention Center Drive,First Floor Conference Room (South
Beach)
Muss Park -4300 Chase Avenue (Mid Beach)
North Shore Branch Library -7501 Collins Avenue (North Beach)
Miami Beach City Hall is located across the street from the Miami Beach Convention Center,
the epicenter of Art Basel.Expect heavy traffic around the Convention Center.Consider Early
Voting at Muss Park,North Shore Library,or South Shore Community Center for a smoother
experience.
•Extended Hours -During the Run-Off Election,all Early Voting locations will be open from 7
a.m.to 7 p.m.daily.

Voting Options During Art Basel Week
•Vote-by-Mail:Avoid crowds by requesting a Vote-by-Mail ballot by Thursday,November 27,
at 5 p.m.,and returning it by 7 p.m.on Tuesday,December 9.
•Vote on Election Day:Prefer to vote in person?You may do so at your assigned precinct
on Tuesday,December 9,2025,from 7 a.m.to 7p.m.
•Vote Early:Take advantage of the expanded Early Voting window and locations.Be sure to
allow extra time for travel.
NEW RUN-OFF ELECTION DATE AND INSTALLATION SCHEDULE
In November 2024,Miami Beach voters approved a Charter Amendment that changed the timing
of the city's Run-Off Election and the installation of Commission members.
What's New Starting in 2025?
•Run-Off Election Date -The city's Run-Off Election (if required)will now be held on the
second Tuesday in December following the General Election,no longer two weeks after.
This year,the Run-Off will take place on Tuesday,December 9,2025.
•Commission Installation Date -Newly elected Commission members will now be sworn in
on the Monday immediately following the Run-Off Election.For 2025,that means Monday,
December 15,2025.
These changes give voters more time to submit their Vote-by-Mail ballots and allow election
officials more time to ensure accuracy.
CHOOSE THE WAY TO VOTE THAT WORKS FOR YOU
Some voters prefer going through the ballot on their own time in the comfort of their own homes
and voting by mail.Others prefer heading out to an Early Voting location on a day that is
convenient for them and casting their ballot before Election Day.Then there are voters who enjoy
the tradition of going to their precinct on Election Day to vote.
VOTE-BY-MAIL
Any registered Miami-Dade County voter can request to vote by mail by going online at
www.iamelectionready.org and selecting "Vote-by-Mail"or by calling 305.499.VOTE (8683)or
305.499.8480 (TTY).
•The deadline to request a Vote-by-Mail ballot for the Tuesday,November 4,2025,General
Election is 5 p.m.on Thursday,October 23,2025.The deadline for the Miami-Dade
Supervisor of Elections to receive your Vote-by-Mail ballot is 7 p.m.on Election Day-
Tuesday,November 4,2025.
•The deadline to request a Vote-by-Mail ballot for the Tuesday,December 9,2025,Run-Off
Election (if required)is 5 p.m.on Thursday,November 27,2025.Because the deadline falls
on Thanksgiving Day,we recommend submitting your request well in advance to avoid
holiday delays.The deadline for the Miami-Dade Supervisor of Elections to receive your Vote-

Returning Your Vote-by-Mail Ballot
By Mail-A Vote-by-Mail ballot can be sent through the U.S.Postal Service.Postage is prepaid,
so no additional postage is required.The Miami-Dade Supervisor of Elections must receive the
ballot by 7 p.m.on Election Day.
At a Secure Vote-by-Mail Drop Box Located at an Early Voting Site -You do not even have
to go inside!Vote-by-Mail ballots can be dropped in a secure Vote-by-Mail Drop Box outside any
of the Miami Beach Early Voting locations.Just look for the "Official Ballot Drop Box!"banner.
Drop Boxes are drive-up and secure.Please bring your ID.A secure Vote-by-Mail Drop Box will
be available and staffed at each Early Voting location during opening hours.For a list of Early
Voting dates and times,please see below,visit www.votemiamibeach.com,or call the Office of
the City Clerk at 305.673.7411 or 711(TTY).
At the Office of the Supervisor of Elections -You can also return your Vote-by-Mail ballot to
the Miami-Dade Supervisor of Elections Main Office,2700 NW 87 Avenue,Miami,FL 33172.The
ballot must be received by 7 p.m.on Election Day.
On Election Day -If a voter waits until Election Day to submit their Vote-by-Mail ballot,they can
drop it off at the Miami-Dade Supervisor of Elections (Main Office),2700 NW 87 Avenue,Miami,
FL 33172.The Miami-Dade Supervisor of Elections must receive the ballot by 7 p.m.on Election
Day.If the voter prefers,they can choose to vote in person at their assigned precinct once election
officials confirm that their mailed ballot has not been received.
By Voter's Designee -A voter can authorize another person,known as a designee,to return
their Vote-by-Mail ballot.Designees should visit www.iamelectionready.org and select "Vote-by-
Mail"or call 305.499.VOTE (8683)or 305.499.8480 (TTY)for additional instructions before
returning ballots on behalf of others.
After you submit your Vote-by-Mail ballot,you can track its status to see when it is accepted.To
do so,visit www.iamelectionready.org and select "Vote-by-Mail."
VOTE EARLY
Voting early lets you cast your ballot before Election Day.If you are a registered Miami Beach
voter,you can vote at any of the designated Early Voting sites in Miami Beach.For the General
Election,there will be two Early Voting locations.For the Run-Off Election (if required),four Early
Voting sites will be available.
Early Voting for the General Election is from Monday,October 20,2025,through Sunday,
November 2,2025.Early Voting hours will be as follows:

Miami Beach is dedicated to making sure every voter,regardless of ability,age,or language,can

are ADA-compliant and equipped with ExpressVote ballot-marking devices.Voters can bring
assistance or ask for help from poll workers.Accessible Vote-by-Mail ballots are also available
