SUBJECT: Sister Cities Committee Motions
The purpose of this Letter to Commission ("L TC") is to inform the Mayor and City Commission
of motions made, and unanimously approved, by the Sister Cities Committee (SCC) on July 7,
2025 .
Members present on July 7, 2025 include Mani Cohen, Allison Buttacavoli , Mattie Bower, Fred
Bean, John Ospitia , Janinha Piazzetta , and Balance Villarello .
Motion #1: The Sister Cities Committee recommends $10 ,000 to go towards the building
and installation of the Sister Cities Cabinet in the lobby of City Hall that will house
permanently all Sister City gifts and equipment that we have been given .
Motion #2: The Sister Cities Committee recommends spending up to $500 to have Bibi
(Artist) create a video and art for the December Z'd event.
