Chapter 2, Article Vll, Division 3 of the City Code of Miami Beach entitled "Lobbyists" requires the
registration of all lobbyists with the City Clerk priorto engaging in any lobbying activitywith the Gity
Commission, any City Board or Gommittee, or any personnel as defined in the subject Code
sections. Copies of the City Gode sections on lobbyists laws are available in the City Clerk's office.
Questions regarding the provisions of the Ordinance should be directed to the Office of the City
Attorney.

GU District for the exponsion of the Boss Museum
The Boss Museum is required to obtoin certoin woivers from the City in connection with
zoning regulotions. The Boss is on government-owned lond ond is zoned GU. lt hos
been Jetermined, during the course of the Museum's HPB review thot the Museum will
require 1) o fee in lieu of providing porking or o woiver of development regulotions for
City owned property, opproved by the City Commission, for the new construction
proposed for the site ot $4O,OOO per spoce, ond 2) o setbock vorionce or woiver of
development regulotions for City owned property, opproved by the City Commission, for
the proposed western exponsion (this is on existing condition). lnitiolly itwos believed
thot the woivers hod been re-opproved when the funding for the Museum exponsion wos
opproved by the City Commission lost yeor. However, it oppeors thot they were not.
The Code ollows for woivers of these development regulotions pursuont to Sec. 142-
A2sldl.
